Hathaway January Post

We've had a great start to the year. Christmas was great and so was New Years. It was so fun to see all the Family. (Pretty much all our pictures are of Afton lately so I hope you don't get sick of them :)

Surprisingly, we are loving the snow up here in Logan. Yes, it is freezing all day every day, but Afton loves the snow

Tyson and I are both going to school this semester. It's Tyson's last semester and he's excited to graduate. I'm taking a couple of classes but I still have a long ways to go. 

This semester I'm babysitting little Elsa (Tim and Brandi Neilsen's baby girl) Monday through Thursday, and our friend's twins (Eric and Brodie) Tues and Thurs. Afton LOVES Elsie and she loves playing with kids so it's going to be a great semester for her. The twins are one month older than Afton and they love to play together. On Thursday, I get them all at the same time! It's going to be so much fun (I'm not even being sarcastic)

Of course, I didn't really follow through with the whole posting every month. But... I guess something is better than nothing ;) So here's December's post:

We had a great time on the cruise in October (Thanks mom and dad!)

Tyson and I are still going to school and are excited that it's finals week. Not the finals part, but the end of the semester part. Afton wishes she could go with Dad to school.

Afton is turing one next Monday and she's getting so big. 

She's just about talking now (saying things that aren't really words but I know what they mean) 

She's walking along the furniture and getting into everything, but she's happy doing it, so I'm happy to let her. 

Hathaway July Post

This was a busy month. Tons of fun things going on and a lot of firsts for Afton, and for us too :)

July 3rd and 4th we went to Orem to visit the fam. We went boating at Deer creek and then had fireworks. Then in the morning we went to the balloon launch and had a great fourth of July BBQ.

Then, On to New Jersey and New York to visit Amanda Jared and Paul.

Afton loved watching all the people. And when we got this stroller, she loved it even more.

The South Orange pool. Afton's first swimming and she loved it.  She just sat with Grandma for about an hour watching the other kids play.

I could post a lot more pics but that was a lot already. We have had a great July and are sad to see it end. 

My June Post

Since this is my first monthly post, I decided to do a little bit of a recap.

 Tyson and I are coming up on our second anniversary in August. 

Afton EllaVee is six months now and doing great.

Born December 14, 2008. 5 lbs 10 oz

We are loving Logan. Tyson has a great job he's worked his way up in, and I love staying home with Afton.

Tyson is going to Graduate in December in Business and I have a while before I graduate in Child Development.

{2 Months}

We've been on two camping trips this summer and I can already tell she's going to be a nature girl. She's happiest when we are taking a walk, playing outside and especially when camping.

In a couple weeks, we'll take her on her first flight and go to New Jersey to visit Amanda, Jared and Paul with Grandma, Aunt Shay, Cousin Jo, Renae, sam and Liz. We're so excited, and it's going to be great to spend a whole week with Grandma, Aunt Shay and Cousin Jocelyn, We don't get to see them as much as we'd like.
