Visiting with Lexie before Ogden competition

Now that's a tan line!
We did get to visit with Lexie while she got her hair all done up and make-up on before they loaded up on the buses to go to the competition at Weber State. Shayla is apparently showing her how it is done!! tee hee

Oh no we didn't . . . . . .

Proof positive that you got better pictures than we did. The rest are all about the same. We will get some better pics of her when we go to Indianapolis to see the finals and pick her up and bring her home.

Lexie's Post

Since Lexie is unable to post for herself, I thought I'd post some of her performance pictures we got to go to. I'm sure my Dad took a lot better ones but here is my contribution

Her show was amazing. I'm so glad we got to go to it. She looked like she was having so much fun out there.

{PS I still expect to see your pictures mom and dad :) }

Hathaway July Post

This was a busy month. Tons of fun things going on and a lot of firsts for Afton, and for us too :)

July 3rd and 4th we went to Orem to visit the fam. We went boating at Deer creek and then had fireworks. Then in the morning we went to the balloon launch and had a great fourth of July BBQ.

Afton and Grandpa

Then, On to New Jersey and New York to visit Amanda Jared and Paul.
Afton loved watching all the people. And when we got this stroller, she loved it even more.

The South Orange pool. Afton's first swimming and she loved it.  She just sat with Grandma for about an hour watching the other kids play.

I could post a lot more pics but that was a lot already. We have had a great July and are sad to see it end.

Happy birthday to me!

I have had my eye on this patio set all summer at Smiths. I didn't want to pay $449 for it so I was just mostly sad about not having it. Thursday Sylvia, Lynn, and I were driving past Smith and the sale caught my eye. "My" set was on sale for %50 off. Eureka!!! On Friday Gordon and I went to breakfast with Cory, Shayla, and baby Jo Jo and then we went to buy my set. YAHOO . . . . so exciting. I'm counting it as my birthday present! Gordon worked in the hot hot hot heat to put the set together and . . . . . . voila . . . . I love it, and it is so very comfortable. Botts and Allans came over to try out the new stuff and BBQ with us for Pioneer Day

June Bott Family Post

Thanks Chels for setting the example (check out Chelsea's post below if you haven't already)! I'll follow your lead with a little recap:

Jocelyn loves her little cousin Afton. They are 7 months apart. (And Grandma loves her girls!)

Our family at Jocelyn's Blessing

Our family now. Jocelyn is 13 months.

Jocelyn on her first birthday with her favorite toy from Grandma and Grandpa Billings.

Jocelyn on her actual birthday.

She is no longer a baby...she is walking and talking and keeping us all busy. Luckily I am home for the summer to enjoy it!
