I don't think Dad gets online to post anymore so I thought I'd post this hilarious email that he sent out. This is it below:
The other day I said something to Grandma about me getting old. The conversation went something like this:
G'ma: How old are you?
G: 52
G'ma: How old?
G: 52...old, huh?
G'ma: Yeah, that's old.
G: Yup, I'm going to be looking for a room here in a couple of weeks.
G'ma: How old am I?
G: 87 <--(is that right?)
G'ma: (Laughing) How old?
G: 87
G'ma: Wow, that's old. I'm ready to go out that door. How old?
G: 87, you're a spring chicken
G'ma: I don't feel like a spring chicken, I'm ready to go out that door.(chuckling) I can't believe you're 87. That's old.
G: I'm only 52, don't rush me.
G'ma: How old am I?
G: 87
G'ma: No, you can't be 87.
G: No I'm 52
This goes on for a while.
G'ma: How old am I?
G: 87
G'ma: You can't be 87.
G: No, only 52.
G'ma: How old are you?
G: 87
G'ma: I feel old, but you don't look like you could be 87.
G: Well, I don't wear it as gracefully as you.
Today, I think she was right.
